Natalia María Campos Martín

Associate Professor at the Universitat de València, Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication, with a distinguished research record in specialised translation and terminology between French and Spanish. Her main lines of research include legal translation and the history of scientific translation, with particular emphasis on medical translation. She is a member of the HISTRADCyT research group at the Universitat de València, which also brings together leading researchers from the University of Córdoba and the Complutense University

of Madrid.

Between 1998 and 2019 she took part in major European R&D projects such as AGIS, which contributed to the development of the European Judicial Area, and GROTIUS, focused on the regulation of translation and interpreting in legal settings. She has also been part of two regional projects funded by the Séneca Foundation and the Valencian Government, centred on the French and Spanish legal systems and on the history of scientific translation. Between 2003 and 2023 she took part in 28 international R&D activities as a speaker or invited guest at universities in Spain, Belgium, Argentina and Poland, including the Université Libre de Bruxelles, the Universidad Nacional de Rosario and the Ateneo Republicano in Mexico.

Her research output includes more than 45 publications with prestigious publishers such as Peter Lang and Gunter Narr Verlag, and in high-impact specialised journals in Philology, Linguistics and Translation such as Sendebar and Quaderns. She has published 37 works

including monographs, dictionaries and book chapters, along with 14 articles in recognised journals. She has also contributed to technical reports and to the translation of results from nationally and internationally funded projects.
