Career

Graduate of the joint degree in Translation and Interpreting and Tourism at the University of Córdoba, she went on to specialise with a master’s degree in Intercultural Communication and Public Service Translation and Interpreting at the University of Alcalá.

Since 2024 she has been a PhD candidate on the Modern Languages programme (research in linguistics, literature, culture and translation) at the University of Alcalá.

She has worked as a researcher on the national Intercomsalud project and contributes to the international projects DIALOGOS Erasmus+ and SPARK. She also collaborates with the EUGLOH European University Alliance.

She has taught medical translation, general translation and Spanish phonetics at the Instituto Franklin of the University of Alcalá. She has worked as an interpreter in police stations across the Madrid region and in asylum interviews at Madrid Barajas airport.
