TRADIES is a research group based at the University of Córdoba. It is international in character: its researchers come from Spanish universities such as the University of Valencia, the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the University of Cantabria, but also from the University of La Plata in Argentina, the Universities of Milan, Bergamo and Udine in Italy, and the Quevedo State Technical University in Ecuador.

TRADIES is a young, dynamic and active group with several projects under way. It organises the only International Conference on Translation and Tourism Discourse in Spain: TRADITUR, whose fifth edition will be held in 2027. The conference is already a benchmark in its field and has a strong international profile. TRADIES has promoted numerous publications in special issues of highly indexed journals and publishing houses, and has organised seminars, workshops and all manner of knowledge-transfer activities with local industry in Córdoba, particularly the jewellery and winemaking sectors.

Above all, TRADIES is a group of outstanding young researchers: rigorous, excellent in their work, enthusiastic and enterprising. All of this makes TRADIES a highly competitive group, open to new members — whether early-career researchers looking to build an academic career or established researchers seeking a collaborative, dynamic and enterprising working environment.
